A big thank you to everyone who took the time to fill out our Future Homes Survey last month. We had a great response and have now got a lot of useful information. As we begin to design the new Sawyers Close, your feedback will help us make sure that our plans meet your needs.
We want to share the results of the survey with you and show how they have influenced our early designs for your new homes and the wider estate. This will be the first opportunity for you to see the proposals and to tell us what you think of them.
We are going to run information sessions for customers only – on Tuesday 26 April in The Pump Room (behind Broadleys) and Tuesday 3 May in the Manor Youth Centre, off Hanover Way. The same sessions will run on both days, so you only need to come to one.
The sessions will run on the hour every hour, starting at 2pm and finishing with the last one at 7pm. They will last about 30 minutes: there will be a short presentation and then you can look at the plans, read the survey results, and tell us what you think.
To make sure that everyone living at Sawyers Close has an equal chance to look at the early plans and ask questions, we need to know how many people are coming to each session. So, if you would like to attend, please call us (0800 169 6507) or email us ([email protected]) to book a slot.
We do hope that you can join us on one of the two days. The Abri project team will be on hand to answer questions about the regeneration plans (if you want to report an issue with your current home, please do this in the normal way as the project team is not able to assist).
If you would like to join us but are unable to, please let us know. We’ll post all the information on display on this website, including a video of the short presentation, and we can also send out hard copies in the post to you. If you would like us to do this, please get in touch using the phone number or email address above.
After these sessions, we’ll take away all your comments and feed them into the design process, so that the next time we meet, our plans will have advanced further.
We plan to hold two more events over the course of this year as our plans progress, when we’ll invite the wider community along as well. But these first sessions are just for our customers – after all, this is your estate, and these will be your homes.
